If you don't like the retro styling (I don't) these Mach 1s are nearly the cream of the crop. If I remember correctly, the hood scoop was real and shook under powwwwwwer

Not quite Crack Pipe, but they're asking more than they will get. I'm sure the dealer paid Trade in Value or less for it which is $8,800. Retail on these is around 11k

The scope sit on top of the engine, not conected to the intake unless you buy a kit to make it functional. I remember watching an episode of Horsepower TV where they installed the kit. It does shake when you rev the engine with out the kit.

Incorrect. It's connected from the factory, and a honest to goodness shaker scoop (I believe it was even based on the original '69 and '70 molds).
I know because I owned a 2004. The engine would stumble a bit when going through the dryers at an automatic carwash because so much air was being shoved into that scoop.
